“Words cannot express how thankful I am for Renee's tutoring! I started seeing her in 6th grade, taking Algebra 1. At first, I thought math was difficult and I lacked confidence, but her exceptional teaching methods and encouragement…”
Helping honors-track girls strengthen math skills, rebuild confidence, and move from frustration to measurable success in Algebra, Geometry, Math 1–4, Precalculus, Calculus, and SAT/ACT Math.
Book with ReneeWe don't just teach math — we elevate her potential.
I help honors-track middle and high school girls raise their math grades by 1–2 letter grades and rebuild lasting confidence, so they feel capable, prepared, and proud in class — without the stress of falling behind, second-guessing themselves, or losing their love for learning.
A confidence-first approach that helps girls thrive in math and beyond.
We identify your daughter's exact starting point, pinpointing hidden gaps and weak spots so she finally gets the targeted support she needs instead of wasting time on what she already understands.
1We strengthen core skills through clear "why-based" teaching and real-world problem solving, helping her build true conceptual understanding so she can approach unfamiliar questions with confidence.
2We connect current concepts to future Algebra 2 and Trigonometry skills, so your daughter feels ahead of the curve, recognizes key ideas in class, and knows how to solve problems independently.
3We build confidence through personal connection, encouragement, and consistent positive feedback, so your daughter feels seen, supported, and willing to ask questions instead of shutting down when math gets challenging.
4Specialized instruction across honors, advanced, and admissions-prep mathematics.

“She is very helpful and explains things very well. My grades in tests significantly improved after receiving help from Renee. Not only is she patient, but she is also very kind and works through problems thoroughly when I needed help. I highly recommend her as a tutor, online or in person!”
“She is so nice and patient!! Definitely recommend to any students. Math has never been my strong suit, but this year has gone so much better!!”
“We highly recommend Renee Cholkar, who tutored our daughter in Honors Pre-Calculus at her private school. What sets Renee apart is that she doesn't just tutor — she truly teaches. She takes the time to explain the why behind the math, not just the steps. That approach helped our daughter move from simply completing assignments to actually understanding the concepts…”
